​The role of proper nutrition and adequate nutrient intake is crucial in societies throughout the world, including the United States. However, in many nations nutrition related health conditions continue to be a major problem and hinder the lives and well being of many individuals. Read more.

Author

Corey Bova is from Tewksbury, MA and attends the University of Massachusetts, Lowell as a Biology major. He works at Winchester Hospital performing direct patient care with aspirations of becoming physician or physician assistant. He is interested in neurology, emergency medicine, nutrition related epidemic diseases and disease prevention. Corey will be a peer mentor at the 2020 Outbreak program to help educate and engage students in public health issues.
