Yearly Program
Outbreak! is an interactive, challenging program designed to introduce high school students to the history and importance of public health. Students will learn about epidemiology, investigate a simulated disease outbreak, learn about the wide range of public health careers, and much more. Two field trips - on to the State Public Health Laboratory in Jamaica Plain and the other to the Lowell Community Health Center - will also be part of the week's experience.
Please check back in May and June for the Outbreak! 2020 application. This program accepts 25 junior/senior high school students. We look forward to seeing you! |
The 2019 session is a wrap! Thanks to all who participated. Check out photos, student work, and the professionals who helped make this week happen. |
