Public Health Museum in Massachusetts

Establishes New Branding and Web Presence

October 30, 2008

Tewksbury, Massachusetts - The Public Health Museum in Massachusetts today announced that it has adopted a new brand identity and web presence.  The new brand and site design reflects and reaffirms its mission to protect the rich history of Public Health in the United States while conveying a new bold direction for expansion.

The new site includes the following new sections: News and Events, Photo Gallery, and Membership Application form.  In the coming weeks online submission of dues will be available, as will a Feedback Folio to submit your ideas and comments, and site Search capabilities.

The new website also has section dedicated to current public health issues with links to associate sites such as the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Public Health Association, and the US Government Department of Health and Human Services among others.  This current-issues section brings full circle the PHM mission of protecting the historic steps taken in the past with an active role in continuing to promote public awareness and preparedness in public health today.

Secondly, our mission is to serve as a resource for current public health issues by providing up-to-date information and promoting public awareness and preparedness.
