The Hospital Room resembles a typical room of the 1920's.

A room like this was often used as a teaching room as well.

The metal beds were high off the floor and required a footstool for patient comfort and safety. Notice also that patient's supplies consisted of the bare essentials.

The medical instruments which you will see in this room are typical of the era.

Near the far door hangs a woolen nurse's cape.  The cape was given to a student nurse as part of her uniform.
